With the concept of bodymoulding Egle Cekanaviciute brings together tailoring and orthopaedia. Both are about "fitting the body in the right shape" as she sais, something that can have social significance. Bourdieu talks of the "embodiment" of the structures, of how our body can express our social position. Or as other sociologists see it, with a more cultural view on the subject, on how our cultural backround is anchored in our body.

All my respect for dealing with such a subject through a clothing collection and styling concept in such an elegant and graceful way.
